5 years ago 90% of Island Street and Parliament Street is now done (I just need to map those), and I'm working on Eccles Street.
@BMT45 I almost have a location-specific xquery figured out, and I'll push it to Github once I do.
Still left to do:
@KSD32, I updated a bunch of file permissions on FileZilla so you should be able to overwrite the section pages now. However, I also just went in and changed the link in Wanderings to include your Bachelor's Walk html page, so it's up there now.
For the presentation, I think that we should have a couple of "heavy-hitter" locations that we can showcase. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking that some good locations to showcase would be:
So maybe we can work on those ones first so that they're presentation ready; then we can fill in the other locations time allowing. For example, Bachelor's Walk was started so it should probably be finished. I also already made some of the network graphs for smaller locations so I'm going to throw those up there.
I think that it's going to work best if we break these location pages into separate parts and work on them that way, so, for example, I can throw some maps on some pages because I know how to do mapping and maybe someone else could provide a historical description of the place for the "about" section because you guys are both history majors.
Any way we break it up, this is probably going to be the part of the project where we'll most likely run into merge conflicts and the like, so if we each could write comments below telling the group what we'll be doing to which pages that would be great so we don't have multiple people working on the same thing.
