So I've been bouncing the ideas of a few people.

Feedback:

• They prefer not having so many steps to create a component \ ie click new component -> change the name -> click select then navigate to the component
• The preference is to have a list of frequently used components on the left of the window. Quite similar to the program Logisim.
• Those frequently used components should have their own icon. (later :)

We could have external input ports and output ports, that make components that one can drag and drop into place in higher level graph views.

Yes, totally agree! The left panel must propose the frequently used components and a search bar for me. The actual solution will be to create new component, without want to put a type on it. That will allow people to add a new component, add two input ports, add one output port, bind it. Only after, they will implement the main procedure, and save it as a new type. For already existing components, a drag and drop is much more user friendly.
