distraction-free writing mode

When I write, I like to write in a "distraction-free" environment. Such a mode 
would be very useful for keepnote. When pressing a certain key (F11?), it 
should go full-screen, and maybe also apply another font and color theme. It 
would be nice if one could also select the size of the active editing space 
(for example, I preffer the middle third of the screen). A nice screenshot of 
how it might look:
