I don't think we want this -- IIRC 1.0.1 is completely different than any of the other code in 1.x.x and shares absolutely zero API. Same with 2.x.x. :/

IIRC the code was barely even published on GitHub, it was added in a later release as commented-out "this was pushed to npm as 1.0.1" and is not maintained.
