I made a few minor updates to the CPDB and GBM example scripts

Automatically create output directories
Include msgpath as a string argument so that the user can find and customize it easier
Update the Readme file
Update the GBM parameter range to show how to search over multiple values of a parameter

I also made forest.py check whether msgsteiner can be found before it parses the input data so that it fails sooner if there is a problem.
