Bigger notebooks do not export as PDF #67

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. My notebook has 65 pages (at 55 the export worked the last time)
2. Eiter send it to dropbox or internal memory no pdf is created
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
internal storage doesn't show a pdf, dropbox tells you that the upload failed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 4.0.4 on Galaxy Tab 10

Please provide any additional information below.
I can provide you with my data (this is confitential), please contact me via

I've tried with 80 pages and it works for me, so its not a bug with the number
of pages. The PDF library generates the pdf in memory, so I suspect that you
are running out of RAM. How big was the resulting PDF file the last time that
the export worked?

Hi
As a matter of fact i had an image frame hidden on a page! Removing ( which
wasnt easy at all) solved that issue!

Oh I see, an image frame whose image was not yet selected? I'll fix this in the
next version...

Ah, thanks Gustav for figuring this one out and posting back here! I was having
trouble with PDF export failing too, on a notebook with only 2–3 pages. Turns
out I had an accidental image frame (hidden underneath the red "record" button
no less!) and once I got rid of that the PDF exports started being readable by
other apps.
