Error Trying to add torrents #224

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Adding torrents for rutorrent web gui

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Added torrents, but nothing seems to added to the download list.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
rtorrent 2.8 running on QNAP NAS Version 3.1.0 build 0708T 

Are some errors present in the web-server log?
No

Are some errors present in the browser console?
Yes, "2009-12-27 10:48:07: (connections.c.1101) denying upload as opening
to temp-file for upload failed: /var/tmp/lighttpd-upload-ueILeb No such
file or directory"

Please provide any additional information below.
