Master branch feels sluggish #69

Compared to last version 2.1.1, the latest master branch build somehow feels slow, including the map. I don't know the reason though :thinking:

Hello :) Since 2.1.1 many libraries have been upgraded which could lead to a new behaviour. I would not say the UI feels slower than before to me, but I will be attentive.

Please check that you build the release variant, otherwise in "debug" variant it could explain why it is slow. Also, you can build the 2.1.1 and compare both versions built by yourself. Could you tell me which version of Android you are running ?

Indeed it seems to be the debug build, the version indicated in the settings is 2.1.1-debug-xxx. I'm running it on Android 13.

Everything is mostly fine. Only issue I still have is zooming on the map: when zooming in and out, it often stops as if it needed to wait to load something.
