casio wk-1800....can't hear gm midi in mac #17

I have a casio wk-1800 and I am using a 5 pin midi cable to interface it with a
presonus firestudio.

The firestudio connects to the computer with a firewire.

I can hear audio just fine in logic pro 8 but i can't hear my GM device.

My casio doesn't show up as a device in the audio/midi setup either.

I would really appreciate if someone could please help.

Thanks!

I'm sorry, but this driver isn't meant for classic MIDI devices. It's only for
Casio keyboards that are directly plugged into a USB port on a Mac.

That being said, it's normal that your keyboard doesn't show up automatically
in MIDI setup. The firestudio MIDI interface should, however. You can then add
your keyboard manually and add it to the firestudio. It should then show up in
your other software.

I would look into the firestudio documentation.
