icon folder flat localization

Hello,

icon folder flat look not workibng with another localization than EN-US. (notepadpp 8.4.8 64bit windows)

Its can be better to have the same directory without localization , to share the work. The best way is to use ID + flat, but the "Command ID match" not found icon too.

Hello, can you please clarify your issue? The file name of the icons needs to match the name of the menu item, which is dependent on the language used by n++. You can use the button "generate list" to get the expected filename based on your settings.

We have 3 option :

• exact name
• strip name
• ID icone

With the 3th we can generate a list number in the name of icons, we cant use it?

I apologize but I'm not sure I fully understand your question.

Assuming that you want to select:

• name mapping == command ID
• format == flat as shown here: [image: image.png] Then you can press the bottom left "Generate list..." to figure out what the expected icon names would be... as show below. Note that while this indeed does not require to know the locale, it does not work with command which have changing ID or no ID... for example plugins.

I understand the process: select the mapping and the icons format, generate the list, close the softaware, put the icon with the right name in the good path.

I mean icon are not show in the menu (only work in the right click on the tab) with Command ID match mapping and Flat folder format. Same in Tree folder format

Its working fine with Plain text match mapping and Tree folder format

Ps: What is the programing language of this plugin? Python? Ps2: why dont share the code?

I make a folder to work for all localization (without translate needed) : $PDIR$\MenuIcons\All Command ID match mapping Flat folder format

New upload, actually 116 icon with language. ALL_2.zip

New language icone (33) if you need them: icone2.zip
