Hello, this is not the expected behavior nor the behavior that I experience. The notes created with CreateNotes do have a filename unless you are using an invalid/unreachable path. At the moment, I think it may be related to some specific settings or combination of settings that you have on your system I suggest doing some testing with a disposable portable NPP and just one plugin at the time with standard settings. Hmm. You seem to be right . I also realize the 1.61 version lets me save autorecovery copies rather than forcing a save (but it ends up having to iterate over every file in the document list, and blocks input while that's happening)
Since updating from 1.61 to 2.0, AutoSave starts prompting me for filenames for most of my open files. I'm suspecting its because they are unnamed/new files, as I'm using your CreateNotes plugin.
