How to use neohabitat on real C64? #8

Hey frandallfarmer.

How can we connect neohabiat with a real C64 == not VICE?

Thank you for any kind of information...

Not yet. We have no way to make a valid B-side disk.

This is a problem we'd like some help with, but currently have no solution. If we could find an original disk, we'd be golden because we've made NO CHANGES to that disk.

NOTE: MANY normal approaches to creating that disk from data have attempted. It was created with a non-standard custom driver which, as far as I know, is the only way to make one of these from scratch.

Once we have a physical disk B and can make copies, the program should just run as is (using the appropriate internet networking substitutions.)

We're scouring the world for an original "Club Caribe" disk set. Perhaps this project will get us the visibility we need.

Hey Randy.

Thanks so far. What I don't get; How can we take part at Habitat relaunch party tomorrow? If I use VICE as "C64" the disk image is the same. Or am I missing something here?

You are missing something, that I tried to explain above. Please use Vice for tomorrow. We are putting together some easier to use installers now

But even Neohabitat.zip (D64) does not work on PC.

BTW: exe is for 64bit only. Many ppl here still using 32bit.

Can we have a little talk about how to connect to server again? I started CCGMS on C64. 1200 baud. Then ATDT52.....:1986. I got a connection then. Launched boot disk after that. No modem reset here. Then this B side program freezing at the stage as you can see above in the picture. Tell me please: is this the right way?

Even on VICE I could not get any further then this.

thErZAgH - grab the latest zip - I upgraded to 3.1 and made it 32bit. (I really appreciate the help with this.)
