Same problem here. The character with the hat should seat in the left seat, not on the floor.
This problem also seems to prevent the character from connecting to the game - he can't connect anymore. Other characters can't seat on the chair. But i was able to place an object into the chair.
This is the error message the character got in this case.

I sat down on the couch before I left. When I entered the game again, the avatar sat in front of the couch (see picture). Not a big problem, I was able to start walking, but the first steps looked awkwardly. This happened on the real machine (C128).
