Issue #9 adds the base functionality to process SonTek and/or 5-beam ADCP data to slant-corrected depths. This issue/feature request expands this functionality to include the ASCII2GIS tool functionality. The ASCII2GIS tool was created as a way to process non-transect ADCP data within VMT, but it's only meant to work with TRDI ADCPs.

VMT version 4.09 now enables the GIS Export Tool (formerly ASCII2GIS tool) to load and process both TRDI and SonTek ADCP input data. See ChangeLog for other details and feature enhancements.
