What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Hi, I apologize for my English but I am Italian, I 
installed the brix theme on mywordpress site but is very slow in 
loading images. When I asked the company where I host the site told me: 
"is a problem of the script timthumb.php, turns out to be invoked by 
connecting remotely in order to make the recovery of the images in 
question, rather than with alocal path. For example: the 
parameter "src", rather than be a local path, such as 
/wp-content/uploads/slide-dedicalogo4.jpg, instead http://www.mysite.net/wp-co
ntent / uploads/slide-dedicalogo4.jpg, an operation that causes 
the script to connect via http, dramatically slowing down the loading 
speed of the site. "

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The site is dramatically slow.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Timthumb.php version 2.8.10 on Brix Wordpress theme

Please provide any additional information below.
please give me an answer, the site as it is unusable. How can you do to bring 
up the images with a "src = / wpcontent / etc. .. /" and instead "src = 
http://www.grafema.net/wp-content/ecc../"

You need to edit the theme to make this work - it's nothing to do with TimThumb
