SVN is at 1409 now... is that what you are using? I've been making minor
patches most
of the day.

Also, is this the first video or a second video played in this instance. And if
it is
the second video how to you load it? Drag and Drop, File-> Open...

It was r1406 at the time of posting, if I'm not mistaken. Fixed in 1411.
>Also, is this the first video or a second video played in this instance.
It makes no difference if it's the first or not in the instance. It occurs
always.
>And if it is
the second video how to you load it? Drag and Drop, File-> Open...
Any of the possible ways. Double clicking, file-> open, drag n drop

Since you said it was fixed in r1411, marking this bug as fixed.

Nothing was changed with respect to the image positioning code. Does it happen
with
all files or just a couple?
Here are the list of changes.. can you tell me which one it quit working in?

It seems like this time in only happening with files encoded in non-standard
resolutions (636 x 478, 704 x 544 <-Tested)
Your list is too technical for me. Sorry :(
PS. I went directly from r1411 to r1426.

Can you please run gnome-mplayer with the -v option and post the output here.

Also, can you post the problem file somewhere so I could test with it. None of
my
sample files have this problem.

Do you still have the problem if you disable xvmc and switch to xv? Although it
doesn't look like xvmc is actually being used in this case.

Same with any vo (excluding vdpau which doesn't work in general)
Original comment by cncminus...@gmail.com
on 12 Jul 2009 at 1:36
just do this and post it, it should create a 10MB file to attach
dd if=/home/demetris/Βίντεο/alla-dallon-28-05-09.mkv
of=/home/demetris/Βίντεο/alla-dallon-28-05-09-trimmed.mkv count=10
bytes=1M
And then upload the "trimmed" file, also that file should be able to duplicate
the bug

your
~/.mplayer/config file?
