There is a command line option "-q" which means quit on complete.
The song is "selected" when it is being played in the playlist.
the choose subtitle allows you to pick an external subtitle file to use with a
video.
I welcome patches if you want to provide some.

The link the in the about dialog is clickable now in SVN
The playlist menu, play is redundant since you can play by double clicking,
pause is
incorrect since you may not be over the playing item, delete is a valid option,
but
there is a button right below to do that, properties not really sure what you
want
here, the details of the file?

Yeah. Because in the version I got (I think in the svn trunk too), the only
things
you can see is Title, Artist, Album, Duration.
What I mean by properties (I think it was a bad french to english translation)
are:
- Other metatags, like, year, track number, ...
- Format (e.g. MP3 128 kbps, FLAC, replay gain, etc.)
- File location (e.g. ~/Music/some/folder/some_file.ext)
- ...
Some of these informations can be viewed in the "See details" but not all. I
also
think a popup would be good.
What would be really GREAT, is to be able to modify the tags in this popup!
(and maybe 2 buttons "prev" / "next" to edit/see tags of the others files in the
playlist.
Of course, that is not the goal of such an audio player, but it would be useful
when
you just see there's a misstyping in it or so.
About the right click menu in the playlist, you're right with the play/pause
things,
but the "properties/details" one is good
Others improvements I thought:
- Detect an opened Gnome-Player window / running process when it's opened and
you
click on another file in the file explorer (nautilus).
This is to be done quickly I think as this is really really useful for an audio
player (unless you can listen to two songs at the same time => I can't!)
- It has already been discussed, but here's something to add. It would be
convenient
that the program remember the window size at the next launch.
- When there's only one single "audio track" (or whatever you call this in
english),
the menu you shouldn't be able to open it (it should be grey like the others),
especially when playing a normal audio file (not a video).
- Right playlist clicking now shows a "choose subtitle file". This shouldn't
appear
for usual mp3, ogg, flac music files.
- The "Watch TV" menu should be grey when there's no TV device connected.
- I didn't find the keys to play next song, pausing, etc. Do they exist?
(Sorry for my english.)
Bye bye

Single Instance mode... see the preferences...

Preferences again...

Pause - Space, P, mouse click...
Prev/Next - PgDn/PgUp... although it seems PgDn has a problem at the moment.

"Single Instance mode" => found. Should be set by default I think, as this
would be
expected by most people (saying 'Arrrr.. All these stupid windows for the same
programs' ) => like me ;-)
"window size": idem
"Space" works for pausing/playing, but it starts the file selected in the
playlist
when you type it! => pretty strange behaviour! (however, that would be expected
with
the "Enter" key)
< and > don't work, neither do PgDn and PgUp
And, can you send this to the french translator ? :
emplacement"...
Voilà ! have a good night!

Personally I do not want single instance mode by default, so I will keep it as
an
option.
the space on the playlist is a GTK default, I do not do anything with that
mapping.
> < and > don't work, neither do PgDn and PgUp
These keys may not work if the mouse is over the playlist. This is a feature to
let
you search for an item on the list. Close the playlist and retest. They work
correctly for me.
You can help the translations by updating the files here.
