Gray artefacts on fullscreen #308

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Play video
2. Toggle fullscreen
3. Wait until controls will hide

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Controls hiding, but movie blinks and there's gray lines above it.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

0.9.8, Ubuntu Intrepid

Duplicate of 297 and there is a already an Ubuntu and GTK issue open on this as 
well.
