Preferences window launches maximized #313

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Build gnome-mplayer without Gnome using only GTK2_12
2. Launch player
3. Select Edit->Preferences

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Preferences interface should be displayed as a "windowed" window and not a
maximized window.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
gnome-mplayer svn-rev1584_11-05-09
Gentoo Linux
EvilWM (simple window manager)

Please provide any additional information below.
Even though the project has progressed far beyond the use of GTK2_12 it is
nice to improve the old code when possible.
Specifying a "reshow" takes care of the odd behavior.
Here is a patch to add a "reshow" for GTK2_12.

Must be a window manager quirk as I have never needed this in metacity. But I 
went
ahead a applied the patch anyway.
