whole window flashes on mouse focus

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. i installed gnome-mplayer.x86_64 (0.9.8-1.fc12) on fedora core 12 from
rpmfusion-free
2. i start gnome-mplayer with a normal movie
3. i change the focus of the gnome-mplayer window by moving the mouse
between 2 windows...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the gnome-mplayer window should just change the title bar...
but: the whole window flashes in dialog-window-background-color...

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
gnome-mplayer.x86_64 (0.9.8-1.fc12) on fedora core 12

Please provide any additional information below.
on fedora core 11 there was no flashing...

after a reboot the problem doesnt show up anymore... :-)

sounds like, but it is not fixed with gtk2.x86_64 2.18.3-21.fc12...

Right won't be fixed until gtk 2.18.4 from what I understand. And a minor patch 
from
gnome-mplayer svn.
