bookmarking: during bootcamp I was a part of a group that worked on a water app. The app was done in 1 weekend, entire front end by one of classmates.

always wanted: recreate the water app (of course not taking credit for the front end design, just as iteration of concept)

Looking at this [ 'white += '%20' += 'space' += '%20 'issue' += '%20' ]

seeing white space as such brings into light that: I want to structure the app about intaking water. The concept to illustrate will be that one is filling_container and reducing white space by doing so.

here is a photo for the app I did not make:

I would want to keep a similarly bubbly and light on the eyes, minimalistic white & blue kind of design. The design in my opinion is: very human, with inviting color, well themed with the water drop, has presence w/o imposing.

also my opinion again but if the concept for my app is that: unused water-intake requirement would be treated as whitespace white space is reduced upon intake until the requirement is satisfied (based on weight & possibly activity level I believe)

Not that the original app doesn't numerify daily needs, but seeing unfulfilled fluid intake as a unit represented by characters seems kind of robotic and mechanical.

I want to be able to hit both concepts: incorporate the joke of yet-to-met fluid intake being represented as white space, essentially likening human to machine. do so in way that preserves the bubbliness

I say the above because: in making Pokedex & Mine-Nugget, I see a difficulty in maintaining perception of maturity with making of expressive UI The Water APP does both very well.
