Improve accessibility #9

There are probably numerous accessibility shortcomings in various components. This is not an area of expertise for me, I'd be happy to accept any suggestions/PRs to improve that.

The goal will be to adhere to APG patterns. For now, will close this issue as it's too broad. As components are reviewed for compliance, issues will be opened individually for any components which fall short.
