What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. add column in database to show view count
2. show communities with highest view count
3. profit

I'm working on back-end support for this.

Back-end support completed: see 'accessCount' field in 'communities' table of
master
database.
Still need GUI support for this.

Do you all just want to remove this hot groups list? I can fill the homepage
with
more intro text and graphics. I see no effective difference between:

1) having the hot list and forcing them to sign on when clicking on a community.
2) having no hot list, making them sign in, then sort the "other communities"
by views.

We have two options:
1) What you suggested = some work for you.
2) Changing the data retrieval from server a little bit and adjusting GUI to
implement Hot Communities = some work for me and maybe for Mariusz.

If you have some ideas for more things to put on the homepage then I like that
idea.
I could probably implement the Hot Communities feature over the weekend but it
does
require some restructuring. I have some other things this weekend that are
higher
priority.
