The error message returned is of the generic message which does not indicate the character overflow issue. For this issue, I will restrict the amount of characters allowed to be entered. Check to see how copy and paste of a large amount of chars behaves with the field typing restriction in place. I may need to handle this differently when a copy and paste is performed.
