What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. whr-g300nv2-firmware-MULTI.bin is a dd-wrt firmware for Buffalo WHR-G300N-CH
i.e. WHR-G300N V2. It can be found here
http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/down.php?path=downloads%2Fothers%2Feko%2FBrainSla
yer-V24-preSP2%2F2013%2F02-11-2013-r20675%2Fbuffalo_whr_g300nv2/
2. when using "ddwrt-gui-extract.sh", a few files cannot be extracted, the
error message reads "ERROR: Bad file size/offset for
style/pwc/ddwrt/top-middle.gif [ 27957 7912221 ]
"
3. since these files cannot be extracted, I cannot finish my job.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I use "svn checkout http://firmware-mod-kit.googlecode.com/svn/trunk
firmware-mod-kit" to get the software. I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

Please provide any additional information below.

the version.txt says it is 0.78 beta.
by using "ddwrt-gui-extract.sh", at first files are being extracted perfectly
fine, but in the middle of the process, "ERROR: Bad file size/offset..." begins
and persisted till the end of extraction. And then I get a 'www' folder with
some, not all of the files.
