KDE Neon 6.2 -- few missing or inconsistent symbolic icons #137

Hi, Long-time user of this amazing icon set on both Gnome and KDE, I've recently upgraded to Plasma 6 (Plasma 6.2.2 on KDE Neon 6.2) and noted a few inconsistencies in the use of symbolic icons (pics below). These are very marginal and not a problem per se, but I am wondering whether there is a quick fix.

Many thanks!

Hi , Frank doesn't seem to have been active this year so I'm not sure if he will answer you ..

I haven't been active for a long while myself but since he had given me commit permission I might as well do some work.

That said I'm no designer so I don't think I will be much use to your issue in particular.

The missing icon in the first image seems to be named speedometer

And seems to fall back to the Breeze icon filename-bpm-amarok

Thanks!

Clarification, in KDE 5. all Plasma applets and logout screen consistently used Evolvere symbolic icons (or fallback). In KDE 6. the non-symbolic (colored) icons are sometimes displayed instead (as in the Power Management applet above). This could be related to new icon size definitions in Plasma 6 and/or new missing icons such as speedometer?

Is there a way to globally force the use of the symbolic icons (up to a certain pixel size on screen)?

I believe the only way is to have an icon theme that only has the monochrome versions for small sizes ..
