Number of users not accurate on author profile page #662

PLEASE FILL OUT THE FOLLOWING FOR A BUG REPORT ONLY:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
======================================
1. Visit my author profile page here: http://earth.google.com/ig/directory?
type=authors&url=shama.sukul%40gmail.com
2. Number of users indicated for the first gadget (nzherald) is < 100 
users. 
3. Click through to that gadget. Number of users is actually 1010 users.

What is the expected output?
============================
Correct number of users should be represented on the author profile page.

What is the actual output?
==========================
Number of users remains as < 100 users and doesn't seem to ever update.

Which browsers have you experienced this on?
============================================
Chrome, Mozilla, IE

Which operating systems have you experienced this on?
=====================================================
Windows, Mac

Please provide any additional information below.

My gadgets were aliased quite a while back with details below. However, 
they still seem to exist on two separate URL's. Not sure if this is how 
it's meant to work.

Gadget 1:
New URL:

Old URL: http://shama.sukul.googlepages.com/nzherald_topstories.xml

This appears to be related to (possible the same as) Issue 645
http://code.google.com/p/igoogle-legacy/issues/detail?id=645 , I've passed 
along the
urls you gave to the team.
