Directions by Google Maps gadget broken

Description of the bug/feature.

previously the iframe of the gadget would auto expand to show driving 
directions but now the driving directions are hidden within the iframe

Works only on Chrome. Firefox&IE8 fails

I have the same issue happening on one of my client's site, works as expected 
on chrome ans safari but not on on FF (os lion), the client reports that IE and 
FF on MS systems does not return the driving direction as mentioned by reporter 
"stephen...@gmail.com"

I have the same issue on Macs and PCs, FF, IE, and Safari.
