error 80020101 on windows xp #15

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run the megademo on windows xp

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the map sould load and come up, but only the error 80020101 shows

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.1, 1.2.0 
windows xp sp3, ie 6

Please provide any additional information below.
I updated to IE 8 and then it works again
please make it part of the requirements (IE 8 and above)
