littera-publishers commented 9 years ago

Bountysource Would be nice to have Prestashop integration for customer, stock, orders, currency exchange, etc. syncing to/fro like in openERP 7.0 integration module.

pagliaso commented 9 years ago

It would be fantastic an integration ERPNEXT <> PRESTASHOP

tintinz commented 9 years ago

Yeah, Me too!

lucalan66 commented 9 years ago

Me too!

rmehta commented 9 years ago

If all of you can contribute, say $800 (together), we can take this up as https://erpnext.com/pricing/paid-feature-development

tardi commented 9 years ago

Will it be maintained for futures version too ?

rmehta commented 9 years ago

Yeah if we do it.

sapna-kcs commented 8 years ago

any progress with this integration?

Suprazz commented 7 years ago

you could sell that as an expansion module on the prestashop store and I think it would sell very easily. Let us know if you ever do that!

fredluhamaa commented 7 years ago

Started bounty for bi-directional integration with Prestashop. https://www.bountysource.com/issues/5012446-prestashop-integration-feature-request Bountysource

Should consider to support Prestashop 1.6.x and 1.7 in the future.

@devdesco @pagliaso @tintinz @lucalan66 @tardi @sapna-kcs @Suprazz Pitch in and let's get this module/functionality developed.

strixaluco commented 7 years ago

FYI: in case someone didn't know, Prestashop has been forked recently: https://thirtybees.com/blog/what-is-thirty-bees/

Suprazz commented 7 years ago

50$ added to the bounty

me2ne commented 7 years ago

why don't you invest this time to integrate ERPNEXT with Magento 2 , Magento most popular and best option for most online shop .

kintaro1981 commented 6 years ago

PS1.6 support will include also ThirtyBees shops.

take a look at: https://forum.thirtybees.com/topic/748/erp-systems/

I'm ready to pay for this. Who can do it? First thing I want is Purchase order created automatically

federicocalvo commented 6 years ago

Hello, today, ERPNext is missing an integration with an ecommerce but that works integrally.

Shopify is fine, but it lacks several issues that make the user does not end up integrating the app.

Woocommerce and Magento are the most used in the world, but in Latin America for example Prestashop is.

Prestashop has many advantages over Woocommerce, in terms of simplicity and that it was created solely to be an ecommerce. Magento as mentioned above is only intended for large ecommerce, so I understand that there are people who ask, but it is a lower percentage compared to SMEs that use Shopify, Woocommerce and Prestashop.

@rmehta wanted to ask you if we can take care of the integration by opening a bounty (I would need help on this) to appoint one of our developers exclusively for this. Although it was a long time ago the estimate that you placed above, for that value we can make a better integration to what it is today with Shopify and Woocommerce.

The community is not the same as in 2014, we should be able to build a bounty in a short time for this, although lately I never finished understanding why more projects are not concreted in this way.

I wait for comments.

Regards!

rmehta commented 6 years ago

@federicocalvo its always hard problem to pick issues! I think for $2000, @revant 's team might be willing to contribute. They have already done Woocommerce. If you have paying customers, you should ask them and get in touch with @revant

federicocalvo commented 6 years ago

Hi Rmehta, thanks for response. Understand to the pick issues, but it seems to me that with your reply we are left apart again this issue.

800 vs 2000 is a big difference, and we are committing ourselves that the quality would be superior to that of Shopify and Woocomerce (don't misinterpret this, it's because of the shortages I'm just saying about each one).

Building the bounty is simply so that we can pay our developer in part with the bounty and in part from our contribution. We have the capacity and the knowledge.

We can also get some contribution of 150 or 200 USD from a customer, so there would be only a few dollars to collect.

If you have to do this if or if the people of ERPNext apologize for the meddling, we simply thought we could add this great functionality in the short term for little money!

Regards!

rmehta commented 6 years ago

@federicocalvo ultimately its up to you how you want this to be executed. I can't help you with funds or anything. IMO $2k is a fair price for a connector, but if you can get it done for free from someone, feel free! We can talk over a PR.

federicocalvo commented 6 years ago

We don't need funds. The only question was how we could be in charge of this connector and keep the bounty that is generated from 800U$D. We can get in addition to those 800 about 100 or 150 from a client.

I explained in the previous comment that we would be placing many hours of our free part, but that the bounty would help us to amortize the full time developer simply. If you want to see it another way we would be putting "1200 USD" in hours of development since the task is quoted in 2000. And we would be happy to do so.

maxtorete commented 5 years ago

I could contribute with 150USD to this feature request.

Belenox-ltda commented 4 years ago

Any news on the Prestashop ERPNext Integration? This issue was opened several years ago, but it looks like the connector is not cooked yet...I'm a Spanish speaker, I'm running a Self Hosted ERPNext in GCP since a few days, and I would like to contribute as much as I can... I was trying to add to the bounty, but Bountysource is not working well right now... @rmehta can you update the the amount you will need to take it up? Could open a funding request on this, but maybe not for the total amount at once, but divided in, say, 6 parts, so each time the goal is achieved you advance in a stage of the connector's development... I think it would be much easier that way to achieve each goal.. I can contibute with 1/6 of the amount... if you begin to work on it I think it would be easier to get the funding... or even I can contibute again in a couple of months... I'm really serious on this...

ddsultan commented 4 years ago

marekbeylich commented 4 years ago
