10 years ago I agree that a sales person can be a freelancer but I guess there should be a way to link a Sales person to the user id of a proflle. This would clearly remove the duplicity of the data in having a Sales Person and another as a user profile.
But please note that there could be a possibility when a Sales person might not be a user with a user profile.
Sales Person can be commission based and hence, he/she need not be an employee. Could be a freelancer.

I wanted to add a new salesperson, created a new user etc but it wants an employee no. Page 108 on the user guide doesnt help. This is a commission only salesperson. Do I take it I have to create an employee record for this person albeit old users are "grandfathered" in.
