Optimize the Rename Tool #14229

Renaming lakhs of Items gives timeout error.

Will this also cover the following case?

The items being renamed could be in lakhs of BOMs.

PS: #13941 could be similar, please consider merging.

In case 1 lakhs items cannot be renamed in one go, please try and consider renaming items in manageable chunks . e.g Renaming operation can be scheduled for 'x' no. of items, then take a break. Then resume. It shuld be OK if the entire process takes a few days also.
The rename progress can be indicated, e.g. 100 out 100000 records renamed.
The interface can be similar to Data Import Tool.

tagged as shortlisted. over to @nabinhait. Sorry for the back and forth. Hope you will understand that we need traction towards on the feature request from multiple users to opt it for development. For now, that is lacking for this issue.

FYI: we recently had to rename ~40k contacts. Doing this as a migration patch would have taken ~5 days of runtime. Instead, we created a scheduler event that runs every 4 minutes, picks a couple of contacts with old names and renames them. This way the system was up all the time and contacts were fully renamed after two weeks.
