Pick List should allow to select Individual Warehouse.

  System dont allow to choose material from particular warehouse. its UX wise picking fron in-transit nowhere make sense. UX Wise selection of particular warehouse will great design

This parent warehouse select all warehouse like In-Transit warehouse, Rejection Warehouse As User, We Store FG item in Finished Good Warehouse so it should allow to select particular warehouse instead of lots of warehouse.

That way any organisation can use pick list very efficiently

Warehouse in the "locations" child table (Pick List Items) is read only, and thus cannot be modified. I guess it's related to the fact the "pick list" is generated with the FIFO (or LIFO depending on the settings) method

In some case companies does not use the 2 default proposed methods (FIFO / LIFO) for picking.

That would be great to allow an option to be able to change the pickup location (warehouse) after a first auto-select attempt. In that case it would be nice to have a "filter" on locations / warehouses to show only warehouses that contains the Item to pick, and displaying the available qty in the location.

In our case we have multiple bins (defined as individual warehouses) with small capacity for each (20 items most of the time), and the same Item can be spread in 2, 3 or even more bins. And FIFO / LIFO is not relevant as our Items are wines (means they can age and evolve), so our picking is more about optimizing the bins (it explains why we need to be able to choose manually the picking location / bin / warehouse)
