Period Closing Voucher_ Changes to be incorporated #41657

We want 2 changes to be incorporated in the Period Closing Voucher:-

  1. The period closing voucher posts the ledger entry in backend. We want the choosing of GLs in the front end, post the 1st save, so that the users have the option to omit any GL in the closing entry if they want to.
  2. More than 1 Period closing should be permitted to be created for the same period. Also,if one GL is already closed then the same GL should not be available for the closing entry again.

This change is requested to enable the users to select their appropriate accounts for transferring the closing balances. For Example:- i. All income and expenses GLs are to be transferred to Profit and loss A/c.
ii. Actuarial Gain/Loss on Gratuity - OCI should go in Actuarial Gains / Losses on Gratuity iii. GAIN / LOSS ON INVESTMENTS - FVTOCI and INCOME TAX - OCI should go in FVTOCI - Investments- Profits
