We are also facing the same problem on serial number warranty. No details are fetched from Purchase/Sales of the serial number. we have to manually out the Warranty Expiry Date for each serial number. As warranty starts from the date of sale... Hence the Details of Sales Invoice / Delivery Note should also be fetched while checking the warranty status of the serial number and creating the warranty complaints. Additionally, there should be a filter on the Serial Number based on the customer. It will help the customer to create warranty complaints from customer portal itself...
