Warehouse selection on Sales Invoice #9803

Hi,

I run a distribution business that has three warehouses. Sales invoice are made at one single location but products can be shipped by any of our three warehouses depending on stock availability and/or who is available to prepare the order and ship it out.

As of now, we have set the default warehouse for each items to our "main" warehouse. The problem is that we frequently have to ship our products from another warehouse. For now, we have to change the warehouse for every single items on the Sales Invoice one by one which can be very time consuming and prone to errors.

There should be a field on the Sales Invoice form where we could select the default warehouse for the current Sales Invoice. This would save a lot of time and I know a couple of users are having that same issue.

I would be willing to sponsor such feature, I just need some help on how to do so.

We could add this feature in Sales Order and Delivery Note as well.

@umairsy We do require this feature in MREQ as well as the For warehouse filed can be filled in bulk for all items.

By when we should except this feature?

Btw picklist allows you to do exactly this but it will add one more document in the workflow so ymmv.
