Notice period Employee last month salary needs to be handled manually and with intervention, rather system should take care in Payroll processing to be addressed in FNF Settlement.
Describe the solution you'd like
Employee on Exit, agrees to follow certain Notice Period as per standard.
In that case Employee Payroll for the months minus last one will be done regular, however last Payroll is hold up or meant to be handled through Full and Final settlement, in which case Payroll should flag out and skip processing for such employees.
Full and Final settlement should take care of this closing Month Salary and other dues/adjustments or advantages to be disbursed.
e.g.
Employee with 2 Months [60 days] notice period, then Month 1 to be processed regularly however, month 2 salary should hold for FNF Settlement.
Employee with 1 Month [90 days] notice period, then Month 1 and 2 to be processed regularly, however month 3 Salary should hold up for FNF settlement.
In this case, should the withheld salary be paid out in the next payroll cycle - by creating a salary slip for the old month & JV for payroll or via the Journal Entry created against the Full and Final Statement?
