Cannot do Payroll RUN : mandatory requirements causing conflict #2024

Information about bug

I have recently upgraded from V13 to V14. I was doing my first payroll run since the upgrade and there has been a change in requirements in terms of manadatory fields. When I select "Salary slip based on timesheets", it removes the 'Payroll frequency' Field and yet when I try and select an employee in the Employee details table, an error is displayed that "Payroll frequency' is manadatory. I cannot do a payroll run. PLease help. On V13 all this worked fine. I could select 'Monthly" and 'Based on Timesheets" and do my payroll runs.

any updates on the issue fix? Same issue exist on v15 aswell
