Controls ignoring set-up in Darks Souls II #1107

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

PLEASE READ LIBRARIES MANUAL BEFORE REPORTING ISSUES:
http://bit.ly/1I6QAb9

Always make sure you use latest x360ce libraries!
Bugs created using older versions will be marked invalid as user error.
r848 vc10 is currently the latest version.

Steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set up Rock Candy PS3 controller for x360ce
2. On x360ce, the controls are right and all work.
3. Run Dark Souls II.
4. Controls are weird, ex. R2=Start, square=X

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When I start up Dark Souls II, it used to be normal controls. Then, I went into
x360ce to fiddle with the deadzones. I didn't mess with it because I thought I
would mess something up. But, when I went to play Dark Souls II again, Square
acted as X, R2 acted as Start, etc.

What versions of x360ce and Windows are you using?
Windows 8.1
x360ce 2.0.2.156 beta 2

What gamepad do you use? On what drivers version?
Rock Candy Wireless Gamepad for ps3

no mention of the hook mask being used, leads me to believe that you did not
download and replace the contents of the gdb file with the latest provided.

Directly from SVN, ie.:
https://x360ce.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/x360ce/Support/x360ce.gdb

You, sir, are a life saver. Dark Souls II is my favourite game and I thought
all hope was lost.

Might you know what the optimal deadzone/antideadzone setting for the rock
candy wireless ps3 controller is?

Sorry, no.

The dead zones are all up to your own particular likings.
