x360ce detects my controller but it only works in the ''controller 2'' tab

First things first, I use windows 7 professional 64bit.
I have a dualshock 3 controller that is set up to behave like a XBOX360 
controller using a XInput Wrapper

The Problem is that this itself works fine in every game except dark souls and 
dark souls II. so I found x360ce and gave it a shot. When I opened up the 
programm it detects the Controller and fills in the buttons. But when I press 
buttons on the controller nothing happens in the first tab. On the second tab 
though it works. So i figured that the controller does not work ingame because 
it is seen as a 'player 2' controller instead of a main one. 

The question is, how do I change the x360ce settings so that when i press 
buttons on my controller they are shown in the controller 1 tab?

you don't need to use an xinput wrapper, that link you provided is full driver 
level emulation of a 360 pad.

go to OPTIONS TAB, place a check on the EXCLUDE SUPPLEMENTAL DEVICES, then save.
