AntiDeadZone doesn't work in games. #344

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set AntiDeadZone for a Logitech F510 gamepad (Xinput using controller).
2. Launch a game (in my case, Sleeping Dogs, Need For Speed Porsche, Trine 2).
3. Notice that the deadzone has not changed.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The deadzone should be smaller, but it is not.

What versions of x360ce and Windows are you using?
x360ce.App-2.0.2.158 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

What gamepad do you use? On what drivers version?
Logitech F510. Unknown driver version. Windows automatically installs it upon
plugging it in.

Please attach a log file created with Log=1 setting in x360ce.ini file.

flick the switch on the back of the control to D and reconfigure x360ce while
the controller is in directinput mode

this will require Logitech Gaming Software 5.10+ for rumble driver capability
as windows does not provide a rumble driver for the Rumble Pad Pro(Which the
controller appears as when in D mode) by default.

You misunderstand what antideadzone actually does.

Tested as working in Batman:AA, SineMora, and Blade Kitten
