Adding the basic infrastructure for unit tests:

A tests folder,
A single test, and
Updated package metadata.

I have added more tests, and everything is ready for pulling. The other tests can be based off the template provided by the new tests. Just the last method of bgFinder is left untested, and I think I found a coding error in it...
