Need to write letter to O'Fallon team thanking them for all their help by 2/25. They need that for Chairman's award submission. Among the things they did:

Include quotes from several team members:

Should also consider writing a similar letter for Triad since they helped as well. We have more time so this is lower priority than O'Fallon's.

Plus, we should write a blog post for each one; the posts can be essentially the same text, but worded slightly different for the reader.

From Violet:

Dear O’Fallon Team 1208,

You have made many generous contributions to Edwardsville Technology, Team 4931, and we would like to thank you for that. You have gone above and beyond with your generosity and have demonstrated Gracious professionalism.

When we were first considering starting a team, you hosted both students and mentors to show us how your team is structured, the basics of FRC robots, introduced us to the cRIO components, tools, and programming environment. You also provided sample documents that were very useful for starting our team.

During the 2014 FRC Kickoff, the Metool Brigade helped multiple teams, including our own, take inventory of their Kit of Parts. We found this to be very helpful, and we appreciate the time your team members took instead of jumping into your Aerial Assist design process.

Recently, just before bagging the robot, Team 1208 invited our team to participate in a friendly scrimmage. This was extremely valuable: we were able to test our robot, identify problems, and demonstrated how multiple robots could interact as a team. Without the ability to use your field, we could not have tested out the functionality of our robot and would not have had as much insight into what Aerial Assist will be like during competition. You also helped us quickly replace a few small parts of our robot that failed during scrimmage. You even offered tips for driving our robot and game strategy.

We would like to thank you for the frequent and beneficial advice, help with acquiring parts, and valuable information and suggestions about regionals. Your coach, Eric Curry, stopped by our team’s build site often, and this was essential for feedback and quickly answering questions. You were very generous with your time and knowledge.

As we gain experience, we hope to reach out to other teams to offer training, advice, and assistance. We hope that we can be as beneficial to other teams as you have been to us. Thank you.

Sincerely, Team 4931, E’ville Tech
