I am currently making a version of the log in photoshop I will have it up as soon as posable. Are there any file type preferences? If there are no prefrqnces I will put it up as a jpeg.
this is it so far
I like it, though do we need to consider orange & black? Also, JPEG is fine for online graphics, but should consider TIFF or EPS for printed graphics (I think). Key is DPI - need 300.
Looks nice! I have to find the information for the t-shirt company to find out what specific format they need. Karen J

Let's keep its open until everyone agrees with the design (I like it btw) and we have a variety of sizes and formats for various purposes. PNG files would be ideal for web-based content.
If I "closed" it, it was purely accidental as I had no idea that was even an option. If you can tell me what I did to close it, I try to make sure I don't do it again!
Be careful as we've allowed a non-techie on this site...
No worries. (The "close" and "comment" buttons are very close together, and I've done the same many times.)
This is what i came up with
I really like this one myself. Not fancy, but gets point across and is flexible/extendable.
Again, my opinion.

I like it too, a couple minor points. The Padding on the top, left, and right is the same, but it's different on the bottom. We could move the gear up and to the left a little so that the bottom is even with the bottom of the T to fix it. The spacing between the H and the gear and the bottom of the C and the gear is uneven. The apostrophe could be moved down so it doesn't poke out the top, not sure how that one would look. The spacing between some of the letters, like the V and the I and the L and the I is uneven too, I think that's called kerning.
But I'm just nitpicking now, I like the direction.
Very nice design, @PradeepKandula, and very astute observations from @Zabot. (This kind of nitpicking is what helps turns really good graphics and logos into great ones.)
Agree and I like most of @Zabot's comments. Only one I disagree with is the elevation of the apostrophe - I like it higher than the E & v so it sticks out.

I agree. The apostrophe has to stick out so it's easily distinguished
Here it is again with some tweaks. That's the PNG, I'll have the SVG in a minute. Edit: GitHub doesn't like SVG, so here's the Dropbox. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/102165525/LogoFlattened.svg
That looks fantastic! Would you mind also creating a square-ish one (and one that is about half the size of the PNG file above) that we can use for the Twitter account?
How's this? Its 219x219, so it should play nice with twitter.
And the small one:
Got this too:
I made a few edits to the Twitter logo.
Here's another:
Closing this, since we have several great files.
