Small fixes for MariaDB and Docker #19

Hi Michael,

while trying to setup fredbet I found two issues that prevented me from using it within Docker using MariaDB. Both are very small issues, but they would block users from using it that way. Thanks a lot for the awesome app. It's really cool and we've been using it during the last few big football tournaments.
