update solution and rubify #167

instance variable for length to remove multiple parameter passing
formula to calculate value to compare instead of hard-coding 15 so that it works for all squares of nxn.

Hey @causztic awesome job. No worries about the previous PR! I probably should have double checked that the solution & challenge matched up 100%; this looks like a good solution.
