Mail interface is now accessible and writing/reading mail is fully supported. However, deleting, mark as read and item collecting is not implemented yet.

Also currently unsure how mail notifications are handled. There is no game message for it so it is implemented as a packet?

Got confirmation, it's a 0x02 mail packet. We need to check this once every time a character logs into the game and every time a mail is sent through the system (notify player if they are online if possible)
