No icon when using nvidia-graphics #16

Open malinkb opened 9 years ago

malinkb commented 9 years ago

When using nvidia-graphics, the intel-icon is replaced with a prohibition sign, and not the nvidia-icon.

Intel-graphics: intel Nvidia-graphics: nvidia

My system:

Ubuntu 14.04.2-lts

graphicadapters:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09) 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF119M [NVS 4200M](rev ff)

Please test my fork to see if the issue persists

I can't test this on Ubuntu 14.04 any more, as I have upgraded to 16.04

I testet it on Ubuntu 16.04 with git clone https://github.com/beidl/prime-indicator.git and installed prime-indicator from it. I then switched between intel and nvidia a couple of times and the icon is showing correct

@malinkb I've just released version 1.0.0 of my fork, which has a ton of bugs fixed as well as some new features. Check it out: https://github.com/andrebrait/prime-indicator
