Hi, I would like to know if its a bug or I'm doing something wrong with prime-indicator. My machine Ubuntu 14.04, 3.13.0-24-generic on a XPS 15 L502X with NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M. If you need any other information, please tell me.

So, if I try to change one time, works fine. Switch to GeForce from Intel with no problem, but If I want to change back, from Intel to GeForce, I need to reboot the machine.

There's any log file that I can send you, that would help?

Best regards.

Hi, I have the same problem with same hardware, and when i run $prime-switch I have this output in /var/log/kern.log

kernel: [ 1260.483523] gpu-manager[6138]: segfault at c0 ip 00007f79f79a6fcd sp 00007fff6b1f92f0 error 4 in libc-2.19.so[7f79f795d000+1bc000]

The indicator just runs the prime-switch command. You should report this upstream on Launchpad.

Thank you biedl, I'll do that.

Just a quick question, well I have installed this prime indicator but I don't have PRIME profiles, whats the difference toggling the gpu vs prime profile

I've just released version 1.0.0 of my fork, which has a ton of bugs fixed as well as some new features and new icons. Check it out: https://github.com/andrebrait/prime-indicator

@rdpascua None. The indicator does just that, but automatically.
