Can not start, debug or kill programs

What steps will reproduce the problem?
I don't know, I made a program with io.write("Enter +,-,* or /")
                                    io.read(Number2)
When I run the program I found a bug so I used debugger and it stoped working 
with the error:
locals pattern"^[%w_]+ = "
gdb --quiet -x C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp/prompt.cmd -f Testing
Unable to debug program!

Now I cannot run any program or kil a program.(both are black squares)
If I run the debug again I get the same error.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
LuaForWindows_v5.1.4-46.exe on windows 7 professional 64 bit

Extra information, if I deinstal al the lua programs and reinstal them the 
problem is still not fixed.
